Are Quranic depictions of the earth accurate?

The Bible repeatedly claims that the earth is suspended on nothing and that there is a horizon making the earth spherical.

Job 26:7-10
"He spreads out the northern skies over empty space;
    he suspends the earth over nothing.
He wraps up the waters in his clouds,
    yet the clouds do not burst under their weight.
He covers the face of the full moon,
    spreading his clouds over it.
He marks out the horizon on the face of the waters
    for a boundary between light and darkness."

The Quran repeatedly says the earth is flat.

And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance.
Qur'an 15:19

He Who has, made for you the earth like a carpet spread out; has enabled you to go about therein by roads (and channels); and has sent down water from the sky." With it have We produced diverse pairs of plants each separate from the others.
Qur'an 20:53

And Allah has made the earth for you as a carpet (spread out),
Qur'an 71:19

Conclusion: While Biblical depictions of the earth are scientifically accurate, Quranic ones are not.
