Afghanistan: Security forces capture Taliban governor, kill commander

Afghan officials on Tuesday said security forces captured a Taliban governor and killed a key commander during two days of operations in eastern portions of the country.

Xinhua news agency, quoting a government statement, reported Afghanistan's National Directorate for Security and its intelligence agency apprehended Aminuallah Kuchi and two of his bodyguards in the Behsoud district of the country's Nangarhar province.
