Pakistani Columnist Attacks UAE For Giving Land For Hindu Temple, Calls Jihad Against India 'Nec
In an article, the Urdu-language Pakistani jihadi weekly Zarb-e-Momin ("The Strike of the Faithful Muslim") bemoans the UAE government's granting of a plot of land for the construction of a Hindu temple in Dubai.
The article, "New Alignments" by prominent Pakistani pro-Islamism columnist Oriya Maqbool Jaan, states that by allowing construction of a Hindu temple in Dubai, the UAE rulers are allowing idolatry into the Arabian Peninsula, after it was eliminated 1,400 years ago by Islam's Prophet Muhammad. He goes on to advocate jihad against India, citing Muhammad's prophecies regarding the Ghazwa-e-Hind, or Battle of India.
